I'm always amazed at the time and trouble people go to building guns, this is just as amazing. Are you in the tailoring trade?

On 'arnies' I was consider to be carpenter beacuse of my wood works... Otherwise the difficulty can be compared to my M14, and AK-63 woodstock.
No I'm not in the tailoring trade... that's my first tailoring work(except fixing 2 team patch).

Btw. I won't buy nor Mp40, nor Kar98, nor Mp44. So I'll make a custom gun. Mp18, or Danuvia M43(More wood parts is better for me).

Where/how did you get your button-holes sewn?

I make it with my hands... :good:

Before cutting the hole with sharp knife I sew around it by mashine. That's made by mashine anything else by "hand"...
First I sew around the hole with that shape(below); after finished, at the beginning(but outside the hole)I sew "around" the hole edge. After it I make it from the other edge(holes come among previous "sewing-holes", so 1 hole/1-2mm). At last I sew around the other edge.

Hope this helps...

They are excellent, they are very neatly done. I've been sewing button holes in exactly the same way, but find it very tedious.
Very well done for having the perseverance to sew them all by hand!

Got post war civilian "gletscher" googles(7USD including shipping):

They're much better than swiss ones... I'll change the glasses to fine mesh from my old sensei mask.
